Reminder to come on down to The Old Bakehouse tomorrow to grab your fresh sourdough for the weekend ☺️

This week the NEW YORK will be available along with White, Cheese & Jalapeno & Cinnamon & Raisin. This is a favourite of my regular customers and was a limited time Summer Loaf, but was so popular that I wanted to keep it on the menu!

This loaf is packed full of Cheddar Cheese and Everything Bagel Seasoning and rolled in the same seasoning to add to the crunch!

Some more exciting news... Leaven House Sourdough will now also be offering Sourdough in the Totton area! This is a super exciting step and a great opportunity to provide fresh bread to the wider community.😊 Leaven House Totton will be run by my mum Corinne and overseen by myself. Corinne works in Home Help for the elderly, so collection times may vary depending on work commitments. And initial bake/collection days will be Wednesdays and Fridays.

The full Leaven House Menu will be available to order from Sunday 11th October and first collection day will be Wednesday 21st October. Orders can be placed via direct message or Whatsapp on 07921954420.

Leaven House - Whiteley will be delivering their delicious bread to the Old Bakehouse at 9.30am on Friday. Who got some last week? What did you get? We love the Olive and Rosemary loaf!

So... autumn menu... I am so very sorry that this has not yet happened. There are a few reasons for this.

1) I have been super busy with life, kids, work etc
2) Doing the Cabins in Whiteley and now providing bread to The Old Bakehouse has taken up a lot of my time 😊
3) I practiced some different flavours and to be completely honest, I wasn't completely happy with them.
4) I have also been focusing on some new sourdough sweet treats!

I'd hate to put out bread/flavours that I'm not happy with and that are not good enough. So, I have decided against the Autumn Menu for now. So instead, I have decided that from now until Christmas I will be offering limited time only NEW loaves for 1 week at a time. This way, it's easier for me to manage 😊

I hope everyone understands and I will post when the first limited time only loaf will be available 😊

When I made the decision in April this year to turn my love for baking sourdough into a business, I honestly thought "I'll be chuffed if I get a few orders a week". I never, ever imagined I'd now be selling out pre orders, selling out at pop ups and also working with another local business. It's kinda surreal and I have my OMG moments when my phone doesn't stop buzzing ❤️

Forever grateful for you all for choosing me and my business every time you want fresh bread or cinnamon rolls ❤️

There's something about my alarm going off at 5am, after 5 hours of sleep that makes me want to cry 😅 but once I get in the kitchen and I'm baking, there's also something lovely about the quiet and knowing that lots of people get to enjoy freshly baked bread today 🍞
