This is moist chocolate layer cake covered in dark chocolate ganache.

A cake that reminds you of beautiful Sri Lanka!
My client wanted a decorated Sri Lankan Butter Cake which represents memories of Sri Lanka. I wanted to do something special and I've picked three main things which came to my mind about my wonderful country.
Elephants, golden beaches with coconut trees, and... Stilt fishermen on the South coast.
As usual my client was so pleased to see the cake. 😊

This cake was ordered by her sweet daughter-in-law who specially wanted it to be an authentic Sri Lankan-style butter cake with Sri Lankan-style butter icing.
The brief was to provide a simple cake with pink roses and I had the freedom to design the cake accordingly.
