Been baking today for the lovely Jen Biggs, Lemon Meringue Pie and a dozen Chocolate/Orange Scones. Yes, made a pie for my Ian as well and 6 scones.

Butterfly Birthday Cake - Chocolate cake, Chocolate Ganache filling, Chocolate Buttercream frosting with edible sugar flowers, leaves, rice paper butterflies. All edible.

Have been busy baking today for a fund raising even in Castle Douglas for Cancer. Made 12 mini cheesecakes, 3 oreo, 3 vanilla and 6 chocolate as well as 3 dozen whoopee pies with caramel cream filling.

A Happy Birthday cake going out to Liz Gunther, hope her day is happy, hope she likes her cake!! :) Honestly, I can do other cakes, but so far the chocolate with the leaves seems to be the popular choice.

Stewartry Show in Castle Douglas today, got sunburned, made some contacts and last event I plan on doing. All by word of mouth and referrals from now on. Have to say that I am not unhappy about that. :) Met some great ladies today, one side was Elaine from Maid-it, a cleaning service...and the other was Tracy from Damn Fine Cheese Company from Thornhill...yes I bought some cheese...yummy!!!! I hope your summer is going well, and I look forward to baking for you soon.

Liz Gunther was the winner of the raffle at the Wado-Ryu Karate Club Family Fun Day in Dumfries, this was her choice, it is a chocolate 15th anniversary cake for someone in her family, I hope they enjoy it and many more years together.

Another busy day today, 3 cheesecakes & 3 dozen scones. For the cheesecakes we have Lemon/Blueberry, Chocolate/Raspberry & Strawberry/Nutmeg. For the scones we have Lemon/Poppyseed, Maple/Date/Walnut & Chocolate/Orange. Thank you Marcella Eakin-Watt, it has been a pleasure baking & catering for you.

Well today busy catering for a birthday party, 25 kids, that has been delivered, now on to the 3 cheesecakes and 3 dozen scones for tomorrow. :) Have a great day.
