Hey everyone the sun ☀️ is finally here and for anyone collecting cakes during this lovely weather we have been having please keep in mind.

Before you arrive, have your air conditioning switched on in your car or make sure it is as possible.

Please go straight home, don’t stop at the shops to grab something quick or stop for a coffee your cake will not like being left in a hot car.

When you get home, place your cake in the fridge if possible, otherwise a box with some cool blocks or a cool room with fans will work.

And finally a hour before your function take your cake out of the fridge but keep in its box it arrived in and out of direct sunlight. Please don’t put it out on a table in the sun I know we all want to admire a beautiful cake but the sun and cakes are not friends 😂.

And there you have it all the advice I can give you as once the cake leaves me I cannot be held responsible for any heat related mishaps.

Thank you again for all your custom and keeping me busy and do be careful in this heat don’t forget plenty of fluids and sun cream.

Finally a very delayed hospital infusion first of 2026, my body didn’t want to play ball this year and kept throwing a spanner on the works. But I’m here and hopefully will feel more human.

As usual everyone I’ll reply to messages when I can, and enjoy the sunny weekend, let’s make the most of it who knows how long it will last 😂
