There’s no better scent than that of a cake fresh out the oven 🥰

Today we have completed a simple four layer vanilla Genoise sponge. Flavoured using vanilla pods, layers of light whipped cream & berries. Finished with a coating of white chocolate curls, a macaron shell circle and even more juicy berries - a treat for the palate 🙌

Why a Genoise sponge?

It is a light & fluffy sponge enriched with butter creating a delicate flavour. An added joy of the Genoise sponge is the way the delicate nature of the sponge enables us to enhance the cake flavour to really stand out - a true taste sensation ❤️

This glorious weather has got us looking back at past food festivals and the treats we baked specially.

This macaron tower was a centrepiece to one of our stalls, proving very popular with a range of flavours including:

- Lotus Biscoff
- BlackBerry & Lime
- Mint Chocolate Chip

Love spending our evenings experimenting with new products & gadgets 🥰

Spent the last few nights creating a variety of handcrafted chocolates - yum!

Tempering white, milk and dark chocolate, utilising different moulds, our snazzy new spray machine, glitter sprays & a variety of flavours (it’s a hard life all this taste testing 😂)
