I have made this autumn quilt using fabric called Autumn Bouquet by Robert Kaufman the colours are so beautiful and bright I did not want to cut it up, so I left the 10in layer cake whole and stitched them together to form a large square and then cut the jelly roll into smaller strips to form the border. I hand quilted the layers together.

I made this quilt for my sister’s birthday in October. In the last year she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and after an operation and a year of chemo which she has now finished. She has remained strong, and we are all very proud of her.
I used Moda Balboa fabric which is very pretty with lots of flowers in pink, purple and blues. I machine appliqued the circles onto the front and finished by hand quilting.

This quilt was made for a 60th diamond wedding anniversary.
I used Moda Balbo fabric as it has lots of lovely colours of peach, green, blue, turquoise, brown and cream.
The finished size 91in (232cms) x 110in (280cms)

The quilt I am making at this time is a 16-block sample quilt made from Moda Wildflowers IX. It has lots of lovely colours, greens, purple, pink, blue and many others. The person that this is for enjoys gardening, so I have found some fabric with gardening tools on and they also wanted to add a memory of going up in a balloon, so one of the blocks is balloons.

This is the first quilt have made from hexagons, so I am looking forward to seeing how it comes together. With a 6 inch hexagon I have fussy cut out lilies from the fabric. The fabric is lovely and bright. I have now started quilting the layers together.
