There is nothing scarier than writing with black icing onto a pale cake. Thankfully this cake came out perfect!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm nearly fully booked for 2026. There's a few slots left in mid-December and then I'm closing for a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year. If you're planning events for 2027, please get in touch - link in my bio!

Have you heard about golden birthdays? It was a new one to me!

Apparently when your age matches the day of your birthday, it's your golden birthday.. your diamond birthday is when your age matches the final two years of your birth year. So whilst I definitely missed my golden birthday... I guess I can celebrate my diamond one in 60ish years 🤣

This was a chai cake: chai flavoured sponges with chai buttercream and chai caramel. NGL I may have kept the spare chai caramel for myself because it was SO GOOD.

A huge thank you to R&J for trusting me to create their wedding cake and be a little part of their special day.

Lemon sponge, filled with homemade lemon curd and decorated with beautiful flowers from Nurtured in Norfolk and touches of gold leaf ❤️

A little retirement treat for a friend at work

Obviously when you work in payroll, retirement cupcakes need to come complete with edible P45s 😂

A little dinosaur adventure for Lowen’s 4th birthday 🦕
This one was covered in fondant and then wrapped with an edible print to create the dinosaur scene, with a few extra leafy details added on top.
Another one from the archives, as I don’t really make fully fondant-covered cakes anymore, but I still loved how this one came together!

Blue marble and pink flowers for a 70th birthday

I loved the colours on this one, especially all the different shades of pink in the flowers!

This one's a little one from the archives! I don't really make fully fondant-covered cakes anymore, but I do still use fondant for decorations and details on my buttercream cakes. This was just too pretty to sit in my gallery without being shared!

Celebrating number 400!
A bit of a different milestone for this one, but I loved how simple the design was - handmade fondant balloons, a velvet coating on the buttercream and a quote around the board.
I honestly believe that all celebrations deserve cake!

Pink and blue for Nala’s 6th birthday

This one actually nearly ended up being a 5th birthday cake, as that was the brief from her mum. The evening before collection, Nala’s 5th birthday cake from last year popped up in my memories…

One quick message to double check later and crisis averted!
