Hi guys,
A bit of a different post from me today.
Recently my 4 year old nephew Freddie spent almost 3 weeks in the RVI and ICU due to a very rare life threatening condition called Stephen Johnson’s syndrome. This was a very extremely scary and stressful time for the whole family but especially for my sister and Dean.
Luckily there is a charity called The sick children’s trust-this is an amazing charity that gives families one less thing to worry about by giving them a place to stay, and someone to talk to, free of charge just minutes from their child’s bedside. During Freddie’s time in hospital my sister, Dean and 2 children, Alfie and Joshua were given a room to stay in at Crawford house (in the RVI grounds) which is funded by the sick children’s trust, this helped relieve some stress during an extremely worrying time.
There for Myself, my sister and are running the great north in aid of raising money for The Sick Children’s trust so they can continue to fund houses like Crawford house for other families in need. As well as this we are also organizing a raffle so are making a plea to individuals or businesses for prize donations, please get in touch if you would like to help out we would be extremely grateful.
Below is the link to our giving page, a blog on Freddie’s story to raise awareness and a link to the sick children’s trust website.
Thank you ❤️🩹
