It feels absolutely mad even thinking about 2027 already, but I've started taking bookings .

Good start to my second year of Eccles Cakes.
I honestly can't believe I'm saying this ....my first wedding cake, together with wedding favours was booked yesterday. 🥳

I know I've said I would never venture into wedding cakes. I feel I underestimate myself at times but I would like to try and to be given the chance is fab.

It's a simple and classic style cake, like the recent 50th Anniversary cake I made, so it's
an ideal one to start off with.

The last few days I've been busy making wedding favours so having a wee break now.

Please book early if you would like me to make a cake for your special celebration!

I've had to turn down quite a few people last week. I don't like having to say no ,but there is only so much I can do in a day and due to fridge space and time.

I'm very grateful to be inundated with messages and bookings.

I love receiving your messages and photos from you after your special occasion. It makes me happy that I've played a small part of your celebration. 💫🩷 🍰

A sweet cake for a very special celebration. 🍰

I had the pleasure of making Thomas's Christening cake at the weekend. This is a 2 layer 10inch vanilla sponge cake with buttercream and Jam filling finished off with adorable personalised toppers.

This cotton reel cake was such fun to make yesterday. This is a vanilla sponge cake. Every decoration was handmade, buttons, measuring tape, pin cushion, quilt patch, and the thimble.

Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it! 🤩
