AJ’s strongly believe that good quality ingredients, a well-balanced recipe and tender loving care goes into making beautiful cakes. As ingredients are an important factor, AJ's use a good quality butter, locally sourced free range eggs, full fat milk and cream, and fresh fruit and vegetables whenever possible as these add a natural sweetness and moisture to the bake. All cakes displayed in The Cake Shop (www.ajclassicccakes.com) have gone through an extensive process to ensure they look presentable and taste delicious. To this end, AJ’s have used the services of local Taste Testing Teams to ensure the Bakers high standards are met. AJ’s Classic Cakes provide a personal service to everyone irrespective of whether the customer wishes to purchase a box of cakes from The Shop or by placing a bespoke cake order. All cakes are freshly baked to order, gift wrapped and hand delivered by us to ensure the cakes arrive in good condition at a time that is mutually convenient. The business is registered with Solihull Borough Council and a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering has been successfully completed to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
