That’s it , all finished for the next 2 weeks. The last cakes collected and delivered.
I finally started packing at 5.45pm today and by 6.45pm we were on the way to the airport to drop our cases off as we have a morning flight tomorrow. 🤣It makes it so much quicker and easier early in the morning!
I am looking forward to relaxing, recharging my battery, back in where I call my happy place…Skiathos ❤️🏝️

I can’t share some of the pics of the orders as they are for celebrations over the next couple of days but this is one of my deliveries from the weekend to celebrate a 21st birthday. 🎂 Red velvet sponge.

I am sure I will pop on here with some pics while I’m away.

I’m now off to relax a bit before an early night!

Wow, that was a busy week and weekend, not much sleep and very long hours but I still fitted in a couple of glasses of wine here and there so all was good!🤣
Early start this morning again, last big cake finished, just 18 cupcakes to finish and then all orders are complete and it’s time to think about packing. As I am busy at an event at our local club all day it doesn’t leave much time, especially as we are dropping the cases this evening at the airport!🤣That is me, I always pack last minute and I haven’t forgotten anything…yet!

This was one of my deliveries on Saturday to celebrate a 9th birthday. It’s my first time creating a cat face design and I loved making it! 🐱🎂

Another very busy day but 2 more sleeps until my holiday so that’s keeping me going!🤣
This was one of my deliveries yesterday in addition to a wedding cake and another birthday cake.
I have been making this little girls birthday cakes for a few years now , this time her request was a pink and purple disco cake 🎂 🩷💜

Not much sleep going on here at the moment as I’m so busy, but all is good because I can catch up when I go on holiday in Tuesday, not sure when I will find time to pack!🤣

Lots more work to do but I’m not liking the thunder and lightning and heavy rain whilst in my cabin!🤣I am staying down the house until it passes,hopefully soon🤞💦☔️⛈️

This was a delivery I made today, 6 afternoon teas to celebrate a 90th birthday. My customer sent me a lovely photo of it set up on the cake stands. 🍰

Another busy day baking and cake decorating. Afternoon teas being made first though.
I managed to squeeze a walk in between the heavy rain shower and bit of a storm, lovely to see some proper rain!🤣

These were an order for 20 cupcakes to celebrate a birthday last weekend. 🧁

Busy day today and also going down to my parents in Northampton to discuss house removals/ clearance with a company. Lots going on but all good!
This time in a week I will be in the air on my way on holiday so will be relaxing!🤣
