Go Yeast Go Yeast is a microbakery based in Donaghadee Co.Down. We make artisan bread products which using mainly organic flour and bakers yeast or wild yeasts.

Go Yeast is a Micro bakery based from the Kitchen in my home in Donaghadee. I produce and bake a range of breads using mainly organic flours and from time to time other ingredients such as nuts, seeds, oils and butter. There are no additives such as enzymes, improvers or inhibitors which are found in commercially made breads. All of the bread contains only four basic ingredients, flour, water, sal

t and yeast is then kneaded, divided and shaped by hand. The yeast can be bakers yeast or local wild yeasts. Wild yeast are the basics for sourdough breads and are considered to be more digestable because of their long fermentation prior to baking. I first developed a fascination with bread and bread making while at Ballymaloe Cookery School. Recently on a course to enhance my bread making skills at the School of Artisan Food I was inspired to set up the micro bakery at home.
