… The time has come! ⁣
Sad announcement today, I will not be accepting any more orders. The Rude Bakery is taking a break! ⁣

Lots of things are changing, I have a new job with a specialist referral veterinary company and am moving out of Cornwall 🩺🐶⁣
⁣
Meaning that TRB is having to take a back seat. Of course I will still be baking and will continue to share pictures of my creations with you all. I have a few orders for next year which I will not be cancelling (so fret not if this is you!). Thankyou for so much love, support, kind words and allll your orders! You have been amazing. Toppers can still be purchased and posted if you want them💗 ⁣

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I have a few important changes that I have to make. Some out of my control and some to try and give me more control 🤣 ⁣

1. 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞⁣⁣
This one is out of my control, a new law has come into play meaning in order to offer gluten free I have to have a complete separate kitchen and equipment: ‘if you are handling wheat flour in a kitchen and you cannot remove the risk of cross-contamination through segregation by time and space, you should let the customer know. You should not make any gluten-free or wheat-free claims’ ⁣⁣
This makes me really sad, I’m so careful and have never had an issue but law is law. I hope you all understand.

2. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠⁣⁣
After much consideration I’m going to tweak collections. Now you can either choose to collect between 9-10am or 5-6pm. Of course I’ll be flexible in exceptional circumstances but this will just mean I’m not waiting around all day for collections.⁣⁣

3. 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬⁣⁣
I now require a non refundable deposit of 50% which secures your order and date. This is to be paid once I have confirmed your order and we have discussed design etc. Unfortunately a small number of no shows and on the day cancellations have left me out of pocket recently 😔

4. 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞⁣
I am now going to ‘open’ my diary for the following month at the beginning of the month before. For example: you can place orders for January from the 1st of December but no sooner. I’m currently taking orders for any dates and have had requests as late as may 2022 - I think opening the diary month by month should make booking and availability a bit easier for me to manage! I’ll announce each diary opening every month so you don’t miss out. (This doesn’t apply for weddings)

I hope you understand, hopefully it will make the whole process smoother for both myself and you lot! Thankyou for your continued support ❤️

Okkkkk you ask and I deliver ❤️ Brownie stacks are now a thing!

•Choose two flavours from the list (have added cookie bars here too because I could do all brownie/brownie and cookie bar mix/all cookie bar)
• They are 14 x brownies but one or two may be cut into quarters to fill gaps. But you’ll get the equivalent of 14 slices!
• £25 and can be personalised with a topper.
