A lovely couple booked me last year for their wedding this week and the time flew by!

They had a mixture of brownies and blondies in two towers on some gorgeous cake stands that they provided.

I feel absolutely honoured that people want my brownies at one of the most important days of their lives🥹

Open for bookings for this year and next year if you are still looking for something a little special for your guests🤎

I have a few bits for sale as I start to wind down ready to start my new job in September.

£10 - 2x PME 8” heart shaped tins BRAND NEW. £10 for the pair.

£10 - PME 12” x 15” rectangle tin BRAND NEW.
£6 - for the same tin which isn’t brand new but has only been used a couple of times so is in excellent condition.

£15 - assortment of BRAND NEW cake toppers, ribbons, piping nozzles, happy birthday topper, unopened box of black bows for cake decorations and brand new Christmas and valentines fondant stamps.

£2 - unopened bag of hair nets.

£2 - collection of new and unused round cupcake boxes.

£2 - heart pattern food grade tissue paper (I have used some sheets)

£5 - 4x treat boxes with hessian ribbon and tags.

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THIS WEEKS’ BROWNIE HUT BAKES

With the temperature soaring again tomorrow, I have made the decision to make this weeks’ bakes pre-order so I can keep them in my bake fridge until you are ready to collect! They are just going to melt to sludge in The Brownie Hut😅

Same menu and prices, just message me your order and what day/time you want to collect🎉

Now, I have been closed for a while whilst spending some of my maternity leave with my gorgeous little boy, however when I was open three times a week before I would sometimes have queues down my driveway😅 I will keep replenishing throughout the three days as much as possible but will keep you updated with stock levels so you don’t travel to me if I am sold out of something you wanted!

It’s not often you have one baker give a shout out to another baker, but my lovely partner had Zoe of Dottys make my birthday cake yesterday so I could have a break😅

It is absolutely lovely and so is Zoe! Lemon flavoured and Police themed for my new job 😎

I also use Dottys for cake toppers myself!

JULY / AUGUST AVAILABILITY

Hey lovelies! Just thought I would quickly pop on and let you all know, as I have been getting lots of messages asking if my books are open for bookings at all…

I have some availability throughout the rest of July and August before I return to work from maternity leave in September!

Whether it’s a “Thank You Teacher” box of brownies, a celebration cake, a brownie tower or a standard carrot cake or Viccy sponge, I should be able to fit you in☺️

Message me if you need something and I’ll get you booked in!

I am also planning on opening The Brownie Hut maybe next weekend 🥰🤎

I’m thinking of maybe opening one weekend / through the summer holidays perhaps. Should I make a come back for The Brownie Hut, The Treat Hut, or both?!

Hello lovelies!

Sorry I’ve been MIA for a few weeks - life has been life-ing😅

Never did I expect for Whisked Away & The Brownie Hut to grow so quickly and the last 6 months or so have been a whirlwind!! I opened The Brownie Hut because I wanted to provide my favourite bakes to my little community in Corfe Mullen whilst on maternity leave, to give me the flexibility to spend as much time with my first baby as possible whilst doing something I love doing.

Hearing all your feedback, being featured in The Echo newspaper and having queues down my driveway, along with wholesale orders, invitations to events and so many private orders for birthdays etc has honestly blown me away and I’m so grateful to you all!

However…it turned very quickly into the opposite of what I wanted to achieve, and meant I either wasn’t spending quality time with my son (whilst trying to breastfeed him for some of the time!) or I was missing out on bath times and bedtimes because I would have to start baking as soon as my partner was home and he would take over parent duties. I was then baking 4-5 times a week til 2am😅

Again, I am SO grateful for the period of time that my passion for baking and brownies turned into a very full time job and I got to meet so many of my amazing and loyal customers 🥹

Many/most of you will not know that I have a Criminology degree and have actually worked in Property and Law for around a decade combined. That’s where my true passion lies and it will allow me to get that time back with my son, as I gain back structure and stability for my family.

So…going forward I am going to only be taking on private orders when I can fit them around my new job, I will still be at the lovely Little Pickles markets, AFC Bournemouth home games and I will still take on your wedding dessert tables/event tables where possible!

The Brownie Hut may open again in the future on a once a month or a limited basis because I absolutely love doing it😭
