I am heartbroken to share that on January 7th, I lost my partner, the love of my life—the most caring and supportive person I have ever known and the best dad and stepdad my kids could have asked for. I cannot imagine what life will look like without him.
During this incredibly difficult time, I have decided to go ahead with existing orders for simple cakes and dumplings. Having this routine will provide a much-needed distraction for me right now. However, I will not be taking on any complex projects for the time being.
Thank you for your understanding and for keeping my family in your thoughts.
I appreciate your kindness and patience as I navigate these difficult days.

This week has been incredibly busy—full of challenges, pressure, and a non-stop pace. But despite the exhaustion, I feel so much gratitude! 😊

This is always the most satisfying view of the year! 🎄
This photo was taken about halfway through the process, but I’m happy to share that all the gingerbreads are now ready for pickup 🙂.
I’ll be in the kitchen for the next two days, so feel free to stop by whenever suits you.

🎄 Christmas Update! 🎄
I think I’ve just iced my favourite design yet 🙂. Take a look at this beautiful Christmas pickup truck carrying a freshly cut Christmas tree! 🤩 Isn't it adorable?
This Thursday I’m planning my last major cookie-icing marathon for the year, so if you still want to get your hands on some festive gingerbread cookies, this is your very last chance to place an order.

One of the last cakes of the year!
This time it's all about Newcastle United, but in a super posh, elegant version! 😉
I'm so lucky that this client always gives me total creative freedom with the design and even the flavour! It worked out perfectly because I'd planned on a coffee sponge but ended up baking a rich chocolate one. Since I had free rein, I decided to experiment with a praline buttercream—I'm absolutely obsessed with praline right now!
And just like that, I created what I think is the best combination possible: a cake that tastes like a sophisticated Ferrero Rocher! The layers are a delicious chocolate sponge with a luxurious praline buttercream.
I'm not usually a huge fan of the classic English-style buttercreams, but I am absolutely in love with this one.
