After a lovely break and some time to relax, I’m ready to get back to work and start creating delicious treats for you all again! ❤️

📅 From next week, I will be taking orders again for:
🎂 Custom cakes
🍰 Cakes, pastries and desserts
🧀 Cold grazing and savoury platters

🏡 As for the Cake Shed, it will be reopening in the coming weeks. I will make a separate post as soon as I know the exact reopening date. ✨

☀️🍰 Today is the last day The Cake Shed will be open before our annual break! 🍰☀️

If you’ve been thinking about treating yourself, today is your last chance before we close our doors for a little while. 💛

Unfortunately, The Cake Shed will remain closed until September, as I have other commitments over the summer. While I’ll definitely miss seeing all your lovely faces every week, it’s time for a little break before coming back refreshed and full of new ideas. 🥰

I honestly can’t thank you all enough for the incredible support you’ve shown me since opening The Cake Shed. Every visit, every purchase, every recommendation, every kind message and every word of encouragement has helped my little business grow into something I could only dream of. 🫶💛

I truly hope you won’t forget about me while I’m away! 😂💕 I promise we’ll be back in September, feeling refreshed, recharged and with lots of exciting new ideas, delicious treats and surprises for The Cake Shed. 🍰✨

If you’ve been to The Cake Shed today after 12:00pm and paid using the card machine, could you please check your bank account to make sure your payment went through? 💛

Unfortunately, I had some problems with the card reader today and it appears that a few payments may not have been processed successfully, so I’m currently missing some transactions. 😔

The good news is that the card machine is now working again. However, if you’re paying by card, please wait until you see the payment confirmation message on the screen before leaving, just to make sure the transaction has gone through successfully. ✅💳

Alternatively, you’re always welcome to pay by bank transfer. My bank details are displayed next to the card machine inside The Cake Shed.

Thank you all so much for your understanding, patience and honesty. I really appreciate it 💛🫶

Life has been so busy that I completely forgot to share them, but I absolutely loved creating every single one of these cakes. 🥹🎂

Each one was made with so much care and designed to be something special for someone’s celebration. Whether it was a birthday, anniversary or another special occasion, it’s always a privilege to be part of those memories. 💛

Looking back at them all makes me so proud of how different every cake is and how each one reflects the person’s own style and celebration. ✨

Because of the high temperatures, please make sure any treats you take from The Cake Shed are either enjoyed straight away or placed in the fridge as soon as you get home. 💛❄️

Please don’t leave them sitting in a hot car or out in the heat, as they’re made fresh and are best kept chilled. 🍰💕

Also, if you’re choosing your treats from the fridge at The Cake Shed, I’d really appreciate it if you could avoid leaving the fridge door open for too long. This helps keep everything at the correct temperature and ensures all the desserts stay fresh for everyone. 🫶❄️
