What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday! ☀️ Delivering this three-tier semi-naked buttercream beauty to for Abbie & Sam’s big day was an absolute joy 🤍

The flavours? Oh, they made good choices:

🍋 Top tier — Amalfi Lemon & Limoncello
🍫 Middle tier — Dark Chocolate Truffle (my nemesis… and yet, here we are 😅)
🍓 Bottom tier — Little Scarlet Strawberry & Bollinger Champagne

The gorgeous roses, lisianthus and pistache were provided by the incredibly talented Katie — thank you so much, they were just stunning to arrange 🌸🌿

What an absolute joy it was bringing Lauren and Nathan’s wedding cake vision to life and delivering it to the truly enchanting Granary Estates. 🤍

This dreamy three-tier creation featured a floating top tier — an illusion that never fails to surprise — and the most incredible flavour combination:

🍫 White Chocolate & Passion Fruit
🥕 Carrot, Pecan & Roasted Hazelnut
🍎 Spiced Caramel Toffee Apple

Every layer crafted with the finest organic ingredients, because my clients deserve nothing less. It was such a privilege to be a small part of their beautiful day. 🥂

And just like that we’re fully into Autumn… I absolutely love this season 🍂

This means the autumn batch of wedding cake sample tasting boxes are ready to go out from next week. 🎉🍰

All my ingredients are organic and fair trade where possible. It’s so important for the environment, the land, wildlife, us, and the future. It’s a responsibility I take very seriously. Using the best ingredients also makes a huge difference to the quality of the cakes. Something I’ve been very proud of championing for years.

Such a beautiful, sunny day for a marquee wedding by the river for Izza & Alex. Delicate blush pink David Austin style sugar roses and buds adorned this cake. I returned in the evening to dismantle it and retain the sugar flowers for my couple to keep. This is an option I offer should couples want it. It’s often easier on more complex designs for me to dismantle my own work.

They had a fabulous evening playlist and we were singing and grooving in the catering tent! 💃🏻 Great tunes, Scott!

Fortunate to see the happy couple as I left and they were delighted with their cake. 🥰
