It all started 15 years ago with a cup of coffee. Happy Birthday to us.
So much has happened in that time. It's been a huge roller coaster ride. We've seen pretty much all of life over those years, good and bad.
Big thanks goes out to our staff, past and present. Everyone has made some contribution during that time. Shout out to all the sixth formers we've employed over the years who partied hard on a Friday and who still made it in on a Saturday for their shift! Not forgetting all the bakers who've worked some inhospitable hours to perform the miracle of baking bread. A big thank you to our front of house staff who make coming in to see us a great experience and those we've employed on the markets. A very grateful thank you to all the team leaders, managers and assistant managers who have helped to make it all happen.
Finally, a massive, massive thank you to our customers. Some of you have been with us since the beginning. Some of you are more recent. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for being so kind when things go wrong and for cheering us on when things go right.
Angela and I have spent a quarter of our lives running this thing together. Not finished yet, either.
