Even in maternity leave I’m still baking… 🤪😂

Made these gingerbread houses for my partners Nanna as a Christmas gift! This was the first attempt ever at making gingerbread houses from scratch and that includes my royal icing!

Sorry I’m late to post this!
This was a three tier cake with no dummies, flavours as follows:

Top tier - lemon and poppyseed sponge with lemon curd filling and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream

Middle tier - chocolate fudge sponge with a milk chocolate filling and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream.

Bottom tier- vanilla sponge with white chocolate shards and chips filling and vanilla Italian meringue buttercream.
