As many of you know, I've been putting a huge amount of effort into training for our upcoming 100K charity hike for . I've followed the training plans, clocked up the miles, and done everything I can to prepare my body for the challenge ahead.

Unfortunately, my body has decided not to quite follow the plan! My right calf and ankle have swollen and my muscle is so tight I have restricted movement, so I popped to the pharmacy for some advice. Thankfully, they don't seem overly concerned and have given me some things to do to help relax the muscle and reduce the swelling. Their main advice was simple: no more training until it's back to normal..

So for now, I'm swapping hiking boots for rest, recovery, and hoping my body behaves itself!

The good news is that if the swelling settles before the big hike, I've been told I should still be good to go. During the challenge I'll just need to keep a close eye on it. As long as I can comfortably bear weight and it's manageable, I can continue.
I'm keeping everything crossed that a few days of rest does the trick because after all this training, I really want to be standing on that start line and completing this challenge for such an incredible cause.

Well that heatwave was unreal 🥵 back to cooler days I think, which means cake and some coffee maybe?

Father’s Day 👨

A few of you have been asking if we’ll be doing Father’s Day pre-orders this year 😊

Pre-order demand has been really low for Father's day, so I’ve decided not to offer pre-order bakes this time around. But don’t worry… we’ll still be filling the shop for the week with lots of Father’s Day goodies! Think themed bakes, chocolate bars, cake jars, cupcakes and more 🍫🧁

You’ll be able to simply pop by our shop and choose whatever takes your fancy OR give us a call to reserve and pay.
