Almost a year to the day i created this absolute beauty for a wedding. I made this cake for Kaytee, who i met over 20 years ago when i worked in retail (she was a customer!) When she found out I had moved into cake making she messaged and asked if I could create her wedding cake. I was honoured!

I LOVE making something a little different for a wedding, its a chance to put your personality into it and have a bit of fun. It complemented the wedding theme perfectly!

The top tier was a coffee cake, middle and bottom tiers were dummy cakes to create the look of a big wedding cake (great if you dont need to feed 100s of guests!) They had lemon and vanilla cupcakes, matched to the colour theme of blush, rose gold and navy.

I was asked to turn the kids classic 'Colin the Caterpillar cake' into something bigger, better, and all round more sophisticated! Suitable for a big birthday celebration 🎆

How did i do?!

Bottom tier was red velvet, top tier was chocolate. Chocolate and vanilla buttercream, chocolate ganache drip. Ft mini Colins and Connie's and mini eggs ❤️

I have been seriously slacking on posting my cakes of late. Between juggling the running a cake business with life and 2 little ones. Time just flies by!

Here is a beauty I made for one of my little boys class mates this year. Its fairy perfection! Loved making every tiny detail 🧚‍♀️ i just love love love!!!! 🩷

Its made up of 4 layers of chocolate sponge with a rich chocolate icing inside. Yummy!!!
