Cakes are changing!

This weekend I am showcasing two new designs with this last spring and summer weather in mind🙈

I have years of experience and I am very able to make all sorts of cakes but…. If it’s a heatwave situation I can’t get a tiered cake covered in buttercream to stay up without air con for 8 plus hours 😭

So let’s think of a way to solve this . The image here is four tiers of cake, four flavours and a showstopper cake 😍

When you meet to discuss your cake ideas at consultation this will be mentioned especially if your having a summer wedding ❤️

Let’s go out with your special cake next year! It’s okay to have something different 🥰

Friday flavour..

A bit late today as it’s been a busy morning setting up at the wonderful Grittleton House.

Today’s flavour is a orange & blackberry sponge with a light Swiss meringue icing.

It works well in the autumn while blackberries are at their best.

I am so lucky to be a part of so many special days.

This one is particularly special as a wonderful wedding coordinator who I get to work with asked me to make their special 🍰

This lovely couple were going abroad to get married and celebrate with family here.

I got to make whatever I wanted to do, we trust you❤️

I wanted to get the beach theme in so sugar shells it was💕

One beautiful tier of my chocolate cake 💕

Friday flavour

Today’s a very popular flavour all year round.

Spiced apple is a brown sponge with apple chunks and a mixed spice flavour.

Filled with vanilla buttercream and a caramelised apple filling.

Friday Flavour

Continued Autumn flavours today is Carrot & Biscoff.

My signature carrot cake (my Nans recipe) with a light Biscoff buttercream filling.

My carrot cake can be with pecan nuts or without ☺️ Both delicious
