SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT THIS WEEKEND!

Ok so I can make a good cake, but what you don't know is that I make even better sausage rolls 🤣

Come along on Sunday and help us raise money for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust by dancing with Fitjoy Ltd and purchasing some yummy cakes and my sausages rolls.

On Thursday, we celebrated the gorgeous Sue's birthday with a delicious meal at The Taco Box Chichester
The food was epic (honestly, go try it if you haven't already!), but we couldn't have a birthday without a cake 🤩

This was red velvet filled and covered with rich vanilla buttercream decorated with autumnal colours and dried flowers.

It was a perfect evening...except for one important person we all missed!!!!

A massive happy 40th birthday to Ali!!!!

Ali turned 40 a few days ago and celebrated her 40th birthday last night in style with friends and family.

Ali is an amazing cake decorator herself, so the pressure was on with this one!!!!

I hope you had a great night and that heads aren't too sore today.

🥰🥰🥰 What a day!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

I finally got my teaching head back on and did a basic cake and cupcake decorating session.
This was a kid friendly session using easy to find materials that you can pick up in most supermarkets and Hobbycraft.

We made 2 different simple cake designs and my amazing students had 4 cupcakes each to decorate. I especially loved Betsy's doggy cupcake 😍

Instead of the usual buttercream, we used milk and white chocolate ganache which was very much preferred over normal buttercream.

Happy 1st birthday Rosie.

I could not resist making Rosie's first birthday cake... her gorgeous parents are good friends and it only feels natural as I have been bringing cake to them since their wedding.

They kindly had the topper made and picked a cake design to match. Filled with vanilla sponge, vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve it's very yummy.
And even better, I got to have some Rosie cuddles this morning. I hope you all had the most perfect day celebrating.

Happy 40th Birthday Jo!

Jo's Birthday may not be for a couple of days, but last night, along with her friends and family, Jo celebrated her 40th birthday in style.

It was my absolute pleasure to make this cake for Jo, based on a design she had seen previously. This was a whopping 10.5 inches tall....a huge shout out to Sturdy Cake Stackers for taking some of the pressure off 🤣
And was vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve. Yummy.

We danced until 1am and had the most amazing evening. Jo is the most beautiful person with the kindest soul.... please join me in wishing her an amazingly happy birthday

P.s apologies for the filters....we partied at La Havanna where the lighting is a little different.... the cake is white and gold 😘

Happy 50th Anniversary Uncle Vic and Aunty Sue!!!!!

My Aunty and Uncle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December and today we had a great family get together at The Spotted Cow in Hunston.

I certainly couldn't replicate their stunning wedding cake from 50 years ago but instead I chose to follow the golden anniversary theme with a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam, adorned with golden yellow and golden peach roses, hydrangeas and other decorative bits.

Today has been amazing. The food at the Spotted Cow is STUNNING and the whole family had a fantastic time.

Here's to many more years of happiness for my wonderful aunty and uncle ######
