Good morning!

I've finally (almost!) recovered from the weekend's festivities, and here is the wedding cake I made for my beautiful sister Kayleigh Eloise Jones, who got married to my new bro-in-law Shaun at the weekend 💑💒👰💐💍🎉💕😍

It was such a perfect day; and weren't they lucky to have such glorious sunshine! 🌞

On top is a boozy fruit cake, with pink marzipan underneath white fondant, shimmery white hearts and handmade pink sugar roses; the middle tier is a chocolate sponge with salted caramel buttercream, covered in midnight blue fondant and shimmering white hearts; and at the bottom is a simple victoria sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, covered in white fondant and shimmering midnight blue hearts ❤❤❤

Sorry it's taken me a little while to get these pictures up. Here is the cake I made for my baby daughter's 'welcome to the world' tea party at the weekend- and the very special little person it was made for :)

(I made lots of other cakes for the party too, but you'll just have to take my word for that, because in all the excitement I didn't manage to take a photo of them all before they got eaten! ;))
