This was a vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. I made a white chocolate drip and decorated it with inedible details to personalise it for the birthday girl.

This was a pleasure to make for one of my lovely colleagues.
Bottom tier was lemon sponge with lemon curd and buttercream.
Top tier was chocolate baileys.

Hummingbird 60th birthday cake.
This was a tall 5 layer lemon drizzle cake covered with a plain buttercream and decorated with handmade fantasy flowers (flowers that aren’t botanically correct) and a 2d hand painted hummingbird. I used cocoa butter and edible dusts to paint it.

3 tier wedding cake.
Semi naked cakes consisting of lemon drizzle and coffee cakes covered with a light buttercream finish and decorated with fresh flowers I arranged on the cake and a bespoke topper to finish it off.
The wedding cake was set up Old Thorns Hotel & Resort and I hope that the lovely couple had a wonderful day

Bespoke cake for a 40th birthday who loves furniture up cycling.
Vanilla sponge with homemade strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. I gnashed the cake before covering it with fondant. I handmade the decorations using 50/50 modelling paste and fondant and I ordered the 40 topper to finish the design.
It’s not fun making cakes in this humidity 😓

Stitch & Minecraft themed birthday cake.
Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and homemade strawberry jam. Buttercream decorated cake with a white chocolate drip. I made the topper with edible modelling paste and hand cut the coloured squares using fondant icing mixed with a little tylo powder to set it. Thanks for following ☺️😘

Stitch and Angel cake.
I was happy to hear from a friend who was a customer of mine years ago and noticed that I was making cakes again. It’s nice to know that my work is valued and I was only too happy to make her youngest daughter’s birthday cake. The last cake I made was for her 1st birthday 🥹
This was a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache buttercream and white chocolate buttercream that I coloured for the design. Details are personalised decoupage toppers and charms with a few edible degrees.
Thanks again for your support and I hope she loves her cake and had a great birthday 🥰

Bespoke 70th birthday cake

I was asked to create a very specific cake for a very special birthday party. Lots of hobbies and interests that they listed, including jigsaw puzzles, formula 1 racing, their love for all things nature related, books, walking and the pet cat.
This was my design and I hand painted the picture with edible dusts and cocoa butter.
Cake was vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam ☺️
