After a bit of a hiatus, I'm back with a bang! 🍰😍 I created this stunning wedding cake last weekend and I couldn't be more excited to share it with all of you. The journey to perfecting this masterpiece was nothing short of magical - from planning every detail to bringing it to life, every tier carries a piece of my passion and dedication.
Created for a lovely couple, who I’ve loved working with every step of the way. They trusted my vision and allowed me to go all out, especially with the sugar flowers, which you all know is my ultimate passion.
Delivered to the stunning , which is such a gorgeous venue, and everyone there was so helpful.
Shoutout to who were so helpful and just generally amazing to work with.

We finished watching Mr Bates versus the Post office last night, a horrific miscarriage of justice that I have been following for years. I’m so glad this has been brought into the public view in such a compelling and well done series. Why am I bringing this up as a cake maker, because I had the absolute pleasure of creating a cake for Ron Warmington, who was the investigator, his role (along with a colleague) was Bob in the program. Ron is a classic Bentley lover and owner, so I made a replica of his car on the silverstone track. This was my first ever car cake! Unfortunately he wasn’t allowed to cut this cake, they all voted that it was too nice to cut, which was sad for me, so one day I hope to make him a cake he actually gets to eat!

Had a lovely day a cake international yesterday, did a demo with the amazing with her sharp edge smoother, which I hope went well. I had a lovely chat with who I love, so it was lovely to properly meet her, and the amazing King Charles cake by . There were some amazing competition pieces and I spent much too much money, but I haven’t been since before covid so it was so lovely! If you went what was your favourite piece?

Happy Halloween! And it’s the last day of caketober! Thank to Tracey at for creating this, and thank you for sticking with me! So sone devil cupcakes I made years ago, and sone cake guts! 😂 so scary! But doesn’t it look delicious!

Day 30 of caketober, and we’re almost finished. Today it’s green. I love green, and this is one of my favourite green cakes, painted with and gorgeous sugar florals and foliage, I think the ferns are my favourite part!

Day 28 of caketober! Well done for sticking with me. Todays prompt is figure. I’ve posted a few figures in caketober, so today is something you’ve not seen before.
Did you know if I have availability, I can provide toppers for your weddings cake by themselves? Even if you don’t order your cake from me. Either couple toppers, dogs or cats in this cartoony style.
I made these 2 very cute cat toppers for a lovely couples wedding cake, styled after their 2 cats. They were delivered on a fondant covered keepsake drum, which unfortunately I didn’t get a good photo of, but you can still see how cute they are.

Day 27 of caketober, magic! I was like have I made a cake about magic? Duh?! Only my award winning cake from Cake International all the way back in 2017. This was the 3rd cake I’d ever made and I still love it, I go and admire it occasionally. But oh my it took me over 3 months to make, not 1 mould was used, and only the most basic of tools and crap sugar paste! Every book was researched and hand painted, and was true to one the school books used in the movies. But as you may have noticed I love Harry Potter, it was these books that got my dyslexic self into reading, and I couldn’t imagine my life without books now, so I’m forever grateful. What’s your favourite book?

Day 26 of caketober, and it’s skull! Had to go back a bit for this. A small wedding cake I made the day before the 2nd lockdown, they were very lucky on that one, but it was a Halloween wedding so we had sone sugar skulls and pumpkins mixed in with the fresh florals! With the wooden details from . Their initials on top with their children’s initials as the charms it was very cute!

Caketober day 25, and it’s pink. Truth be told I’m not the biggest fan of pink, I’m more is a blue girl. But oh it does look great on a cake, pale pinks and blushes are amazing wedding colour schemes. 2 very different tiered cakes here, both gorgeous. Which is your favourite?

Day 24 of caketober, food! I don’t think I’ve done any food illusion cakes, which is a shame. But did you know I also make macarons, and that’s definitely delicious food! Not that cake isn’t food, but you know, I don’t think it would go with the theme! I have an extensive menu of flavours, and they make gorgeous wedding favours! Everyone loves a favour you can eat.

Caketober day 22, insect! I’ve not really done anything insecty, but this cake has very cute little bees on it, so I’m going to say it counts! Plus this is one cute cake, so I’m going with it!

Day 21 of caketober, spooky! What could be scarier to a 20 something their 30’s? 😂
As someone who is getting closer to 40 oh how I wish I was 30 again!
