💚 A LITTLE POST THAT HAS RESTORED MY FAITH IN THE NEXT GENERATION 💚

I just wanted to share something that happened at the Cake Shed today that genuinely put a smile on my face. 🥹❤️

Three lovely children came to the shed today, and firstly, they were all so polite and well-mannered.

When it came to paying, they realised they were 50p short. Now, they could easily have just left the 50p out and nobody would have known… but instead, they put a whole £5 note in the money box! 💷🥹

That meant they paid £4.50 more than they needed to, all because they didn’t want to short-change me.

And honestly, I know it might seem like such a little thing, but it really isn’t. 🫶

In a world where we hear so much negativity, it was genuinely refreshing to see three young children choosing to do the right thing, even when it meant paying more than they needed to.

It wasn’t about the money. It was about their honesty, thoughtfulness and the lovely manners they showed. ❤️

So, to those three lovely children… I’d love to return the kindness! 🥰💚

How about next weekend you come along to the Cake Shed and pick yourselves out a FREE treat each, on me, as a little thank you for being so honest and lovely? 🍪🍰 You absolutely deserve it!

Their parents have kindly given me permission to share this, and I really hope they’re proud of themselves because they absolutely should be!

Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that restore your faith in people. ❤️

Thank you for reminding me that there are some really lovely young people out there. You’ve made this little Cake Shed owner’s day! 🥹💚
