✨Something a little different from our kitchen this week! We didn’t bake a full cake for this order, but we had the absolute pleasure of hand-sculpting this 3D fondant figure topper set for Archie’s 5th birthday party! 🐭🌰 To make it even more special, the super-talented Charlotte from Balloons And Cakes created a stunning backdrop topper to complete the scene! 🌳 From his terrible tusks and knobby knees to the mouse’s little nut, we loved every second of bringing this deep, dark wood storybook favourite to life. We love collaborating with fantastic local creators—it just shows what happens when local small businesses team up to bring a party vision to life!

Bringing sweet touches to such unique local historical venues across Medway is honestly one of the best parts of this job.
On Saturday, we had the utter pleasure of setting up for a beautiful wedding at the Royal Engineers Museum in Gillingham. It is such an extraordinary venue—so intimate, atmospheric, and packed with incredible history at every turn

I was so locked in the zone, carefully setting out every cupcake and display piece, that I didn’t even realise I was working directly under a massive V2 rocket until my husband showed me the photo he'd snapped! 📸
Being able to bring sweet touches to such unique local historical venues across Medway is honestly one of the best parts of this job.

It’s only a few slight changes to our other session times as we head into the new term. 💫
🎃 During school half terms, our timetable will continue as normal with plenty of sessions available!

This capybara theme is absolutely hilarious and adorable—especially the little guy passed out on the board after eating a slice of his own mini cake!

This design couldn't get any cuter. From the sparkly pink balloon arch made by Balloons And Cakes and mini 3D-sculpted capybaras sharing their own tiny birthday cake, to the little guy fast asleep on the board from a full-on cake coma—this bake was so much fun to make! 🍰💤

This two-tone pink-and-cream buttercream, a hand-lettered wooden sign, and plenty of shimmer sprinkles for the ultimate birthday centrepiece. We hope you had a very Cappy birthday, Aurora x

Few things in this life are as precious as gathering loved ones together to celebrate a new life about to enter the world. Being asked to create the centrepiece for such a special baby shower is a moment I never take for granted.

From the rustic charm of the handmade wood-effect board to the gentle scent of fresh thyme and bright, house-candied lemon slices, I chose every detail to feel warm, organic, and full of joy. Inside, delicate layers of fresh lemon cake and curd offer a flavour as bright and sweet as the family's exciting next chapter.

Baking for milestones like this goes so far beyond flour and sugar—it’s about pouring heart and soul into a memory that this family will cherish forever as they prepare to welcome their newest little bundle.
