I first opened Cupcakes by Carly nearly 3 years ago and have had such a blast practising different piping, different bakes, numerous decoration techniques and meeting such lovely customers and fellow bakers along the way. I started off with my lovely mum's help who is a fondant expert, and eventually (mostly) went it alone other than when I needed a bit or help with stalls at fairs. I had never picked up a piping bag prior to 3 years ago so I'm really proud of how far I've come ❤️. I've learnt what I love doing (pastels, flowers, traybakes) and what I avoid unless absolutely necessary (BLUE food colouring 🤣 oh the battles I've had with it being green!)
It's now time for me to close my kitchen for a while to try to balance my part time job and life at home with my husband and 3 boys.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support and orders- this would not have been possible without all of you ❤️.
I may be back in the future so I'm keeping the page here but setting it to closed for now.
I may pop up occasionally at fairs, so it's not a total goodbye!
Anyone who has an order booked in with me, rest assured I will still be doing those 😊

My first giant cookie order since launching these 🥰
Would anyone like one for Valentine's? They would be edged with vanilla or chocate buttercream and have some Valentine's themed chocs around the edge, along with a fondant plaque. My husband has ordered one already 🤣

Giant cookies!
These tasty beasts are 9 and a half inches in size and are thick and chunky, but still gooey like a cookie. Packed with chocolate chips and decorated with buttercream and sweets or chocolate of choice. They come with a fondant plaque with a message of choice 😍
£22 for a decorated cookie, or £20 for a 'naked' cookie which can still have a fondant plaque but no buttercream and chocs.
