A little two tier last minute cake made to celebrate the 55th Wedding Anniversary of Elize and Johan.

This cake was discussed and ordered via email with the couples daughter in Australia with help from their granddaughter here in the UK.

They chose flavours of Chocolate and Classic Vanilla. This Lambeth style cake was handpiped with royal icing.

Welcome October - autumn is my favourite season, I love the cooler weather, the colours of the leaves, the blankets and candles come out, soups are made and we creep towards the end of the year.

October, for me, is about wedding fayres and I still have a few wedding cakes this month too. I am also taking a much needed holiday this month and dummy cakes need to be made for the upcoming wedding fayre season.

This time last year.

This autumnal wedding cake was created a year ago today. The sugar flowers were expertly crafted to match the wedding florals, resulting in this stunning cake which I was delighted with.

Happy first anniversary to this lovely couple.

A single tier lambeth piped wedding cake for a small celebration after an overseas wedding.

I loved the classic black and white of this cake and the vintage feel to it. I will never tire of piping this style of cake.

The couple chose Classic Vanilla for their flavour.

This 2 tier cake was perfect for an intimate wedding with around 60 guests. The hand created sugar roses matched the venue decor beautifully.

The couple chose White Chocolate cake filled with White Chocolate buttercream and Mango and Passionfruit curd.

Throwback to one year ago.

How times flies! I made this beautiful wedding cake one year ago today and its still one of my favourite wedding cakes. I loved the sugar roses and the colour palate the couple chose. I enjoyed piping the royal icing detail around each tier too. It is such an elegant and sophisticated cake.

Congratulations to Caitlin and Alex on their first anniversary.

This buttercream cake was delivered and set up at Doubletree Hilton. It's always a pleasure coming back time this venue - the staff are so lovely and do such a great job with weddings.

The couple selected flavours of Salted Caramel, Lemon and Elderflower and Classic Vanilla. They supplied the rose gold initial charm themselves.
