AI Cakes vs Reality 🎂🤖

A little reminder for anyone who has seen an AI-generated cake they absolutely love and would like something similar for their celebration. 🤍

AI is AMAZING for creating beautiful cake inspiration… but unfortunately, it doesn’t always understand the reality of actually making a cake! 🙈

Some AI cakes have impossible structures, decorations that don’t physically exist, gravity-defying toppers, perfectly smooth details that would be incredibly difficult to recreate, or decorations that simply aren’t available to cake makers.

I can absolutely use an AI cake as inspiration and create something with the same feel, colours, theme and overall idea — but recreating an AI image exactly isn’t always possible.

Behind every real cake there’s:
🎂 Actual cake
🍰 Real buttercream
👐 A pair of human hands
⏰ Hours of work
✨ And sometimes a little bit of cake magic!

So please don’t be disappointed if your AI inspiration needs to be adapted. My goal is always to create the closest realistic version possible, while making sure it will actually stand up, taste amazing and survive being transported to you! ✨

AI can create the picture… but I have to create the cake ! 🎂🤍
