It’s Sourdough September: join the sensationally simple sourdough swap!

This year, the Real Bread Campaign is keeping things super simple. Our call to all is to dough just one thing: swap whatever bread you normally make or buy for genuine sourdough.

Just once. That’s all.

Your swap might be from a favourite bread to a sourdough version of it; or kicking sourfaux in favour of the real deal. It’s also a chance for people to taste things they haven’t tried before.

Sourdough opens the door to a world of choice. Rather than a style of bread, sourdough is a process. It can be used to make pretty much any type of bread on the planet, savoury or sweet, ranging from crusty to soft.

Good afternoon and welcome to SOURDOUGH SEPTEMBER 😍
All through this month, for every order you place, you will earn one entry for the end of the month giveaway.
Prize will be:
1 sourdough loaf of your choice
4 sweet buns (must be same flavour)
300g granola
My first bake day is this Friday 4th September, orders will close on Wednesday 2nd September at 18:00
Following weeks, I'm back to my usual Tuesday to Friday availability 😊

Only few days left until my first collection day since my surgery. I am very much looking forward to getting back to baking 😀
You can order now until 6pm Wednesday 2nd September for collection on Friday 4th September. I am running slightly reduced menu for now. Available items are
Bread
Focaccia
Round buns
English muffins
Bagels
Pizza dough
Granola
Hopefully back to full menu middle of September 😊

Good morning and happy Monday 😊
Just a little update on my return to regular baking. My first day back will be Friday 4th September. My menu will be limited to bread, pizza dough, English muffins, bagels and round buns. Basically everything that doesn't require the use of rolling pin.
Over the last couple of weeks i have just about managed to bake some loaves for us more or less one handed 🤣
I have done more sitting around doing nothing in last two weeks than I have done in the first 7 months of this year 🙈 Thankfully, I have discovered quite early on that i could crochet again. Crochet was my favourite thing to do before I discovered sourdough baking. So now I'm organised for a few little Christmas presents in August 😂. And i am also able to add to my poppies for RBL.

Good afternoon you lovely lot😍
It's been a week since my surgery and I am pleased to say I'm recovering well. There is a lot I still can't do, but thankfully there is no pain. My stitches won't be taken out for another week so I'm still walking around with a bandage on.
Although I have been able to bake us some bread, I am still unable to fulfil any orders. Today was also first day I could drive again😊 and I decided to visit another micro bakery. Something I promised myself I would do once I passed my driving test.
I drove to Swindon to Pete's micro Bakery
I came home with one of their delicious raspberry buns and award winning pumpkin sourdough.
If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend popping in. It is so soft and delicious, no wonder it won a gold award🏆
And as happy as I am with my own loaves, sometimes it's nice for someone else to bake for me 😁
