My passion for baking began way back in my childhood with fond memories baking with my gran, still to this day the sweet smell of gingerbread takes me back to those moments. I rediscovered my love for baking in my early 20’s when I took the plunge and left my full time (very boring) office job to start my journey at college to learn all to learn all I can about my new career path. I studied Bakery
& Patisserie for 6 years, graduating in 2018 with a degree in Hospitality Business management, working within the industry and also growing my own little business - An Ounce of Heaven. Within those 6 years I wasn’t just growing my love and knowledge for baking - my family life expanded as well. A wedding, a baby, 2 dogs and more recently another wee baby to keep me on my toes. The heart of An Ounce of Heaven is Family and my aim is it to provide you and your loved ones with the joy and happiness that cakes and treats can bring. We as people love to celebrate with food and love to indulge in a treat or two! I know in my household we do!!! An Ounce of Heaven creates delicious handmade cakes and sweet treats for all occasions (even if it is a wee treat for yourself) and all freshly made just for you!!
