Good morning and Happy new year 2026

This year we need to change and add a few things to the cafe to get it where we need to be.
Last year I tried to be the baker, cook, admin, manager as well as trying to do all the stock, social media and accounts.
I felt like a juggler in a circus and there was times I just knew I was going to drop the balls and make mistakes.

However that was last year, what's done is done and now to make new changes and drive the business forward.

So I am advertising for a cook to come and join cafe on the green.
All the details for now about the job are within the post.
Apply by CV only no messages Back and forth I just don't have the time.
Only genuine candidates apply and over 18
Pay can be negotiated pending experience and what guy can bring to the cafe.
No late nights and days will be Tuesday to Saturday.

If you feel you have the skills and pace to bring to the business please apply by sending your CV and letter over explaining why you would be great for the job. If you are creative and love baking and cooking then the job just could be for you.

Thanks to everyone who made orders for Christmas this year it's much appreciated and apologies to anyone who missed out
I just simply can't manage as much as previous years due to the cafe being busy and taking up most of my time

My mission next year is to find a good chef or cook so that frees me up to work on the cake business again 👌

The return of the Christmas Eve boxes and I can’t believe it’s nearly been another year 👀👀🫣🎅🏿

This year Iv decided to stick to some good old classics for the boxes and nothing crazy 😜

24 bitesize pieces, 6 flavours 4 of each -£40

Slight price increase on last year due to ingredients costing much more 😡

These have sold out really quick the last few years, I have opened up more spaces than last year to try and accommodate everyone but it is on a first come first served basis. This year we are limited due to the cafe and being so busy💪🏽

You can message me directly but you will only be guaranteed a box when I have exchanged mesages and taken details with you.

The first 100 messages I receive requesting one by time sent will get a box once I reply to confirm. I can't reply to any comments just direct messages 🙏

Please be patient tonight with me as usually I get inundated with mesages 🫣😜😂

Large family cheesecakes for Christmas Day or Boxing Day ❤️❤️

Serves 12 large slices -£55 each, additional £5 for the pistachio cheesecake. My prices have had to increase due to ever rising costs especially chocolate and ingredients.

Gluten free is available, except Biscoff, the others can be all adapted to be GF 🙌🏻

Flavours include.....

Slight price increase on last year due to ingredients costing much more 😔😔

A 24 bitesize piece box all gluten free and a mixture of Blondies, brownies and millionaires and tiffin.

Inside the box the box 4 pieces of each.

It's been a while and this page hasn't been forgotten about but setting up the cafe has taken nearly a full year 😳
