I love cake!
I have been baking since I was a teenager, selling my cakes at Carlisle Market whilst I was at secondary school for a bit of pocket money.
I work part time serving in Amato’s restaurant in Carlisle, where I feel I have an adopted Sicilian family, I love it! I run Rosalind House Airbnb on Warwick Rd in Carlisle, where I practise my hospitality skills. And I help to run and co-ordinate 108Mealbank, a charity cooking and serving a hot two course meal to the underprivileged in Carlisle city centre.
In and around my busyness I bake cakes to order usually for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings, babyshowers.
Prices start from £30 and go up to around £70 depending on the size and complexity of the requirements! My favourite cake is lemon and blueberry, but also you can’t beat a really good traditional Victoria sponge. My aim is always for my cakes to taste amazing, as well as look good and making them special for each recipient.
