Senior Bread Baker
Holmesdale Street
We are looking for a Bread Baker to follow on the mantle of our current Senior Baker retiring after 50 years in the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of Wales’s longest established bakeries, 127 years this year.

As the Senior Baker you must be able to work independently ensuring the consistency and quality of our bakes. The role allows for a large degree of autonomy and flexibility using the latest bakery machinery to help continue and push forward this thriving business.

As Head Baker you will need:
• At least 10 years’ experience within the industry, formal qualifications preferred but not essential.
• To be able to work efficiently and effectively.
• An attention to detail and a desire for quality.
• To be physically fit
• The ability to manage your own time and routine whilst working

The position will involve:
• Working independently to produce our core bread, roll lines and bake our confectionery lines for the day shift to finish.
• Working in a clean, tidy and safe manor.
• 35 hours a week over 5 days with some flexibility in start time (currently 5pm).
• We operate a rolling day off, so every 6 weeks you will get a long weekend.

Pay:
Dependant on experience, plus pension contributions, free food whilst in work and staff discount.

For the right candidate this role will allow them to play a pivotal role within the business with the flexibility to shape and mould their own working methods whilst being able to maintain a great work life balance.
