Also, a chance to win my signature luxury fruitcake! A 6" cake packed full of fruit that had been macerated in brandy, with extra cherries, Brazil nuts and almonds. Matured for at least 6 weeks and fed with amaretto. Delicious! (NB, as a former fruit cake hater, this recipe converted me) ~ Christina

Gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate cookies v1.0. (Hasty decoration, but actually I quite like the simplicity!)

Taste: very good, like brownies.
Texture: good, if you are making brownies.
Spread: bad - needed to recut cookies after baking.

Overall: C+ Good, not great. Can do better.

ABC bakery will be taking part in a few events in the next few weeks. The first one is next Thursday 13th November 2014 at 7.30pm. Why don't you come along and say hello? You can come and have a chat (I am very nice!), have a look at some of my cookies, maybe place an order and even buy some! Plus you'll be supporting your local schools and businesses.
