๐คSome people imagine that our birds are released into the wild and "if" they find their way home, somehow it is by chance.

๐กWe do not teach these birds the way home, they carry that instinct, that geographical awareness, that gift within them.
๐For generations, these birds have possessed an extraordinary instinct to navigate across miles of terrain both familiar and unfamiliar, and return to the place they belong.
Our role is not to show them the route, (how could we?) but to nurture them, care for them, and keep them strong enough to make the journey.
Through patient training, well timed in their 1st year, good husbandry, and daily attention, we build the fitness and confidence that allows them to answer the call of home.

They live daily in semi- wild conditions i.e. they are free to come and go as they please, but following a wedding or any event, they are not cast into the wild.

Before any release we ensure everyone knows how long it will roughly take our birds to home. We spend time talking to people before and after the service, and enjoy talking about our flock!
โฅ๏ธWe love it when people show interest in our birds, it also adds to the memory of your weddings for them too.
We only use ROCK DOVES. This is the only breed that will fly home. Fantails, garden, java and all other breeds only live with us after rescuing them - they are not, and never will be taken to events for either displaying or flying.
