Quite often, couples worry about the cake not getting eaten and having lots left over. But there are ways to ensure this does not happen. Here are my 3 top tips.
1. Please do not put your cake in a corner. My cakes are designed to be seen. They are show stoppers. Your cake deserves to be pride of place in a main room with a beautiful setup, not in a corner where people may not even know it's there. The more it is seen, the more people will want to eat it.
2. Do not have enough cake for all of your guests. As a general guide, I always recommend to cater for around 75% of your final number.
3. Think about timing. If you have your cake cutting too late, some people will be off on the dancefloor and not wanting to eat. If you have it too close to the finish of your wedding breakfast, people may be too full. It's a tricky balance.
