So as you will know my apron has been hung up for a bit with the odd cake here and there but I have now finally decided to officially close the business. It certainly hasn't been a light decision and I am so grateful for every cake order over the last seven years, for the birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings, events, pandemic afternoon teas, decorating parties and everything else in-between, a big thankyou for entrusting me to cake with your hard earned cash !
Really grateful to the world of YouTube for everything I taught myself. To Janet for making me a fab logo, to Sharon for her fab toppers, for my husband who built me a fab website, for all the encouragement you all gave me and indeed to my family who were so patient with me being evicted from the kitchen whilst I baked and then when they would find me on the kitchen floor sobbing over the odd cake disaster! Big thanks to all the other businesses out there who gave of their time and expertise to help me on my cake journey.
I'll leave up my Instagram and FB page for now but won't be adding any new content.
More than happy to lend anyone any cake decorating supplies should you need it, I have alot of cutters, tools and various paraphernalia so please just ask!
I am so grateful to be spending my days with the awesome cardiac rehab team at Papworth doing lots and lots of admin ! They are a wonderful bunch who work so hard doing important work for their patients and have a fantastic sense of humour, so don't worry no time for getting bored !
And yes I will still bake a cake for my nearest and dearest every now and then 😘
