Yes, we know! Halloween hasn’t happened, nobody’s defrosted the Christmas decorations and Mariah Carey is still locked in a cupboard somewhere! 🤣

But we’ve decided to throw caution to the wind at Wilson’s Café!

Well, we’ve only gone and done it again! 😂🍳☕

ANOTHER 5 STAR FOOD HYGIENE RATING! 🏆🎉

Yes, the inspector has been in, checked everything, had a good look around and decided we’re still fit to feed the good people of Camborne! 🤣

We did ask if there was a sixth star available, but apparently five is as good as it gets!

We’re not a fancy restaurant. No silver service, no tiny portions on massive plates, just proper food, generous portions, plenty of banter and a hardworking team who keep everything up to scratch! ❤️

👏 AND A VERY SPECIAL MENTION TO BRIAN! 👏

We’d like to wish Brian, our food hygiene inspector, a very happy and well-deserved retirement! 🎉

After years of checking kitchens, inspecting fridges, looking through paperwork and making sure everyone behaves themselves, he’s finally hanging up his temperature probe! 😂

And for those who don’t know, Brian has a bit of a weakness for bread pudding! 🍰🤣

So Brian, if you’re reading this, you’re always welcome to pop back in for a slice.

Although now you’re retiring, we’ll know you’re coming for the bread pudding and not to inspect the kitchen! 😂😂

All joking aside, thank you, Brian, for your professionalism over the years. We wish you a long, happy and relaxing retirement.

CRIME: Theft of one mirror.

DANGER LEVEL: Extremely low.

INTELLIGENCE LEVEL: Currently under investigation. 😂

LAST SEEN: Making off with a mirror like they’d just pulled off the Hatton Garden job.

KNOWN ALIASES:
“The Reflection Robber”
“The Looking-Glass Lifter”
“Billy the Pane”
“Mirror McNickface” 🤣

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:
May be seen admiring themselves in property they didn’t pay for.

Police advise members of the public not to approach the suspect if they are carrying the mirror…

Mostly because we’d quite like it back in one piece. 😂

The suspect is reminded that every time they look into the stolen mirror, the main suspect will conveniently appear directly in front of them.

Technology really is incredible these days. 🤣

Wilson’s Cafe will be closed from 18th September and reopening on 28th September.

We’ll put it on Facebook, put a sign on the door, tell everyone we see… and we still fully expect somebody to turn up, pull the door three times and look confused. 😂
