Frimley Cakes & Crafts my cake and craft business. Making and selling cakes and cupcakes, selling framed photo gifts. I love cakes. I love photos. My home is covered in them.

I love being able to present someone with a sweet treat that I have been able to turn my creative hand to. I began by teaching myself how to bake cakes, biscuits, and sweets. I shared them out to family and friends to trial for me. Then, I started being asked to bake cakes and make desserts for birthdays, christmas, and other occasions. Thinking about my scrapbook frames, I started thinking that m

aybe I could turn my cakes and cupcakes into edible pieces of art. And so, I started teaching myself how to turn icing and sweets into decorations on cakes. I like to remind myself of how I have got to where I am today, and how better than to have my life's journey spread around my home as a constant reminder? My family, my children growing, my friends, holidays, weddings, christenings and other memorable events, all adorn my walls. And then, when I discovered scrapbooking, I realised I could turn my photos into something more than just a memory in a frame or an album.... I could turn them into a piece of art that tells a story. And so, here I am today. After making cakes for all sorts of occasions, and creating pieces of art, gifts and memories out of simple photographs, for family and friends, I have finally taken the step to share my creativity with others.
