I could never have dreamed that one day I would meet the person who inspired me to start baking bread.

We came to Bath for our weekend holiday and I decided to leave a thank-you card for Richard Bertinet at his workshop — and unexpectedly, I met him in person.

I got a photo, a hug, and an autograph to remember this moment forever.

Thank you, Master, for your books and for the passion that helped me find myself. ❤️❤️

I was baking lots and lots of focaccia!

Focaccia of any size can be ordered from our bakery for your parties and gatherings. You can cut it into pieces of any size and serve it to your guests with ham, prosciutto, burrata, cheese or any toppings you like.

I truly love connecting with people.
Just recently, one of our lovely customers told me about her Hungarian grandmother, who was known throughout the neighbourhood for her homemade cakes, buns, and biscuits. She passed her recipes down to her granddaughter, and the granddaughter shared one of them with me — a biscuit filled with apricot jam.

Later, I realised the recipe is quite similar to a traditional Austrian biscuit, usually made with raspberry jam. But I decided that a Hungarian grandmother’s recipe should never be changed — so of course, I baked them for you with apricot jam. 😊

We will once again be baking gluten-free bread for you.

Ingredients: rice flour, buckwheat flour, and a small amount of maze flour.

If you would like a loaf, please place your order by Wednesday at 3:00 pm, and your bread will be ready for collection on Thursday at 11:00 am.

Price: £3.90 per loaf.

⚠️ Please note: this bread is made for people with gluten intolerance and is not suitable for those with coeliac disease.
