I truly love connecting with people.
Just recently, one of our lovely customers told me about her Hungarian grandmother, who was known throughout the neighbourhood for her homemade cakes, buns, and biscuits. She passed her recipes down to her granddaughter, and the granddaughter shared one of them with me — a biscuit filled with apricot jam.
Later, I realised the recipe is quite similar to a traditional Austrian biscuit, usually made with raspberry jam. But I decided that a Hungarian grandmother’s recipe should never be changed — so of course, I baked them for you with apricot jam. 😊
