Best cake commission ever, didn't charge a penny for it, just did it for the love.
Daughter Lauren Mitchell and Jack Mitchell
120 cupcakes including some Gluten and Dairy Free for myself and some of the other guests.
And a cake for the happy couple to cut.
5 flavours some just as muffins for those who don't like icing.
Salted Caramel
Lemon
Chocolate
Raspberry Victoria Sponge
Coffee and Walnut

The big cake was layers of Vanilla, Chocolate Salted Caramel with Salted Caramel Sauce and frosted in White Chocolate Buttercream

We found a new use for the wooden shot tower at the fabulous Southwood Hall Wedding Venue

Bunnikins refurbished, a much loved toy, now 32 years old. His fabric so loved it was threadbare.
Reinforced back with additional cotton to retain his original material. He had a little extra stuffing to plump him back up.
And then not 1 but 2 new romper suits made to wear over his original. ( Couldn't resist just too cute to make!)
Happy to report Bunnikins is safely back in Milton Keynes with his human. Sitting in the bed where he belongs.

Well this was a huge but fun cake to create. Weighed a ton!
The brief was square, contemporary, navy and blue with silver highlights for a big party.

6 layers of Vanilla sponge with white chocolate buttercream frosting and raspberry jam.
Silver and blue lustre dusted chocolates and buttercream swirls to finish.

Got my nails done, can only mean one thing....this is my official out of office notice..... back to baking in 2 weeks ti...
