Fitzgerald's Craft Bakery Ltd. We are a small, local, independent craft bakery based in Buxton.

We also have a cafe on site and do takeaway sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, cakes and pies and pasties.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable person to work in both our shop and café. Hours are flexible, on a rota including some Saturdays and Sundays, and we would expect the successful candidate to cover when required 16 to 25 hours per week. Catering experience is preferred.
As you will work in both the shop and the café, you can be sure that no 2 days are ever the same!
Main duties are as follows:
Competence in all aspects of the day to day running of the site, including the use of Bake-off ovens, bread/meat slicers, cash handling and banking.
Good food hygiene and health & safety rules must be adhered to at all times.
Stock rotation, including regular sell-by date checks on all products sold.
Food preparation of any required goods for either the shop or the café.
Dealing with telephone enquiries efficiently.
Holiday & sickness cover.
Cleaning, including counters, fridges, utensils, grills, drinks machines, surfaces/floors and café furniture.

Dear Customers
To accommodate the removal of our existing shop front and to enable preparation for the fitting of our new heritage shop front, we will be closing for three days next week (17th, 18th and 19th) then reopening for the rest of the week (20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd). We will then be closed for a further three days (24th, 25th and 26th) before reopening as normal. We apologise for this inconvenience but we are certain it will be worthwhile.

Helping to prepare, finish and serve snacks in the cafe and helping to serve customers in the shop.
We anticipate it being around 25 hours per week but need potential applicants to be flexible.
The job will include weekend work.
We would prefer candidates to have a catering background.

Hi
We are currently selling off all of our cake decorating accessories, boards, decorations, stands, pillars etc. at really cheap prices as we no longer have time to produce celebration cakes.
All the proceeds from the sales will go to Cancer Research.

We are currently looking for a new member of our team to help in all aspects of a busy catering business. Experience would be preferred in catering or retail and the hours will include some Saturday and Sunday work on a rotational basis.
Up to 25 hours a week.
