Mini vs Large… what’s the difference?

If you’ve been wondering this, you’re not the only one! I get this question a lot so let’s clear it up.

Minis are exactly the same as the Large loaves, just half the size! Depending how thick you slice it, you can usually get about 6-8 slices vs the Large which can be around 12-15. They’re perfect if you prefer shorter slices, want to try a flavor, or are the only one in your house who eats sourdough (gasp!)

All my loaves freeze really well so if you’re worried about not being able to finish a Large loaf before it goes stale, don’t you fret! Just slice it up on day 1 or 2, place it in a freezer bag, and take out slices as you need! This is how I store ALL my loaves. You never know when you’ll have a bread emergency 😉
