We have some incredible news to share…
We're proud to announce that St Edmunds Butchers & Bakery is now an official member of the Guild of Fine Food and has been awarded TWO 2026 Great Taste Awards!

Our Suffolk Sausages – handmade using quality Suffolk pork and our secret family recipe by our Head Sausage Maker, Nigel, who has over 47 years of sausage-making experience.

Our Suffolk Pasty – handcrafted by our Head Baker, Theresa, using quality Suffolk beef and over 22 years of baking expertise.

To receive a Great Taste Award is a huge honour, with thousands of products judged by industry experts each year. To receive two awards in one year is something we're incredibly proud of. We're also delighted to be the only butcher in Bury St Edmunds that is both a member of the Guild of Fine Food and the proud holder of two 2026 Great Taste Awards.
These achievements are a reflection of the passion, skill and dedication our team puts into every product we make, using quality local ingredients wherever possible.
