Due to unforeseen circumstances, HLÆFDIGE will be closed this week.

I’ve been quiet here for the last couple of months.
The end of last year was heavy, and I needed time to breathe and heal.
Even so, you kept showing up — and I can’t tell you how grateful I am.
Ten years ago I baked my first loaf in a cast iron pot, never imagining I’d one day have my own café in the heart of town, surrounded by such wonderful people.
This place exists because of you.
Customers who became friends. Friends who feel like family.
Here’s to the next year — hopefully kinder, brighter, and shared together

Fresh bread will be available over the weekend at Freshco Supermarket, and I’ll post an update once it’s been delivered.

We are honestly overwhelmed by what has happened since moving into the Arcade. The support, the love, the energy you’ve all brought with you has been absolutely mind-blowing.
This new chapter for HLÆFDIGE could never have happened without you — our community, our customers, our friends. You’ve filled our little bakery with life, laughter, and the kind of togetherness that makes everything worthwhile.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for showing up, for cheering us on, and for making this space feel like home already. We can’t wait to keep sharing bread, pastries, and moments with you all.
