🍂 We’re Going Seasonal! 🍂

We have a little update to share about the future of Burton Farm.

From this year, Burton Farm Café will be moving from year-round opening to seasonal opening, giving us the chance to make the most of the warmer months and a little breathing space over winter.

Our last day of the season will be Sunday 1st November, with the café closing from Monday 2nd November and reopening on Tuesday 2nd March 2027.

Why the change?

It’s mainly an operational decision, but the winter break will also give us valuable time to tackle some much-needed maintenance, make improvements around the farm and get everything ready for another fantastic season.

There are some exciting changes for our team too. A number of our fabulous team are heading off to university or finishing their studies and beginning their full-time careers. We’re incredibly proud of them, and with so much changing behind the scenes, this feels like the perfect time for Burton Farm to make a change too.

🏊 Swimming is staying open!

Our open-water swimming will continue throughout the winter, so you can still get your Burton Farm fix! We’ll keep you updated with swimming days and times as we move through the colder months, and our check-in cabin will be open for swimmers.

Most importantly, we’re not going anywhere – we’re just going seasonal! 💚

We really hope you’ll continue to visit and support us throughout September and October, and then join us again when the café doors reopen in March.

As a small local business, every coffee, breakfast, cake, swim and visit really does make a difference. Thank you for supporting Burton Farm and our wonderful team – we couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s to making the most of the rest of the season... and coming back refreshed and ready for Spring 2027! 🌿☕🐾

🌿 New Café Opening Times – September 🌿

We’re easing into the cosy season with updated hours throughout September.

🍂 Tuesday – Friday: 9am–4pm
🍂 Saturday & Sunday: 9am–5pm

The lake’s calm, the coffee’s warm, and the farm feels are top‑tier.

Whether you’re wandering over after a swim, grabbing a treat, or sneaking in a peaceful moment for yourself, the café team will be ready with fresh food and friendly faces.

🌊 Social Swim Invitation – Come Join Us! 🌊

If you’ve been thinking about trying a social swim but feel a bit nervous, you’re not alone and you’re exactly who this swim is for. Whether you usually swim solo, struggle to find a swim buddy, or simply want to meet new people in a relaxed, welcoming setting, we’d love to have you with us.

Friday 28th August 6pm-7pm

Everyone will meet at the cafe to sign in, share a few smiles, and have a casual chat before we head up to the lake together. No one goes in alone we all enter the water as a group, so you’ll always have friendly faces around you.

If it’s your first time, don’t worry we’ll walk you through how everything works here at the farm. Some of our lovely swim family will be there to greet you, answer questions, and help you feel settled before we swim.

A few gentle reminders:
Bring your tow float
Wear whatever you feel comfortable swimming in
Bring your best smile — we’ll supply the rest
