Good morning, and happy new year to you all. Fancy something for a change ? Don't forget your pies available from the Larder Cafe, Manor Farm, off Bourton Road.

Home made pastry and fillings, made by Cornflower Catering, with a selection of :-

Beef and ale

Beef and blue cheese

Chicken, leek and ham in a creamy sauce

Pork, apple and cider

Lamb, red wine and vegetables

Minced Beef curry and potato

You can enjoy a wonderful breakfast, and other goodies from the Larders menu, including a lovely selection of delicious home baked cakes. There is also the butchery department and cheese shop, something to please everyone, with fabulous friendly staff there to help you. Take a look, and enjoy in a traditional farmyard setting, (well behaved dogs are very welcome), there are walks nearby, this is a real hidden gem. Good morning all, as a lot of people have been unsure of cooking times and instructions for clangers I thought I would post for you all.

Steaming time in a steamer and a saucepan is 45 to 50 minutes, wrapped in the paper they are supplied in. If cooking in a saucepan, you can overwrap with foil or an old tea towel and pop an old plate or trivet in the bottom of the pan just to keep it from catching on the. Good morning all, hope you've all had a great week. The Cornflower kitchen is busy as usual baking pies and cakes for the Larder cafe, there is a new flavour on the block, a morrocan spiced mutton pie, that will be available tomorrow (Saturday). We also had an Ayrton Senna inspired cake this week which was fun to make. Hope you all have a fab weekend, we'll post again soon. Take care and stay safe xx
